Today internet marketing is a part of the gem marketing panorama. Not everyone sells on a website or eBay, but we at least communicate with some clients by email. We don't all have a website and conern ourselves with SEO, nor do we all use PPC (pay by click) advertising. Almost every gem dealer has email. We´ve recently used social media marketing (Linkedin and Facbook) and have had some success. Yes it is more than posting offers which doesn´t work that well. We offer some kind of information - source ativity, marketing advice- and try to drive proffessional buyers to our site (gembuying.com) where we get closer to them. It makes up part of our sales funnel.
